This page explains what happens to data when you use this website. We collect as little as we can. The site sets cookies only for Google Analytics, and only if you allow it.

Who is responsible

The controllers for this website are:

Hosting

This website runs on Cloudflare Workers, provided by Cloudflare, Inc. When you open a page, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address, the page you requested, the time and your browser's user agent, to deliver the page and protect the site from attacks. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in a secure, working website. Cloudflare may process this data outside the EU under its data processing terms with us.

Measurement

We count page views and a few actions, for example when someone completes the Constraint Check or books a call, to learn which pages help. We don't use cookies or store anything on your device for this. The page sends the address of the page, the page you came from and the name of the action to our own server, which forwards it to Plausible Analytics, run by Plausible Insights OÜ in the EU. Plausible doesn't store your IP address or user agent; it uses them to make a count that changes every day and can't identify you. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. To object, write to info@compoundgrowth.dev.

Google Analytics

If you allow it in the cookie banner, we use Google Analytics 4, a service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, to understand which pages and steps help visitors. Until you allow it, nothing from Google loads on this site and no Google Analytics cookie is set.

Google Analytics then collects usage data, such as the pages you view, the actions described under Measurement and how long a visit lasts, information about your device and browser, and your approximate location, derived from your IP address. Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses. We never send your name, email address, shop address, messages or Constraint Check answers to Google Analytics, and Google signals and advertising features are switched off.

Google Analytics sets two cookies on this site: _ga, to recognise the same browser across visits, and _ga_YC2CQ48JCE, to keep track of the current visit. Both last up to 2 years. Google deletes the usage data after the retention period set in our account, 14 months at most.

Legal basis: your consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25(1) TDDDG. Google may transfer data to Google LLC in the USA. Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, for which the European Commission has decided that it ensures an adequate level of protection.

You can withdraw or change your choice at any time under Cookie settings, at the bottom of every page and in the menu on phones. Withdrawing stops Google Analytics at once and deletes its cookies from this site; it doesn't affect processing that took place before.

Your choice itself is stored in your browser (local storage), with the date, so we don't ask on every page. It contains no personal data. We ask again after 12 months, or sooner if what we measure changes. Storing the choice is necessary to respect it (§ 25(2) No. 2 TDDDG).

Booking a call

When you send the booking form, we receive your name, email address, shop address and anything else you choose to add. We use it to prepare the call and to contact you about it. Our server sends it to us by email through Resend (Resend, Inc., USA). Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, steps you asked for before a possible contract.

The booking page is a Google Calendar appointment page, provided by Google. It opens in a new tab only when you click to pick a time; the booking page loads nothing on this site. When you book, Google processes your name, email address and the time you chose, possibly in the United States, under Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, and sends the confirmation. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, steps you asked for before a possible contract. If you'd rather not use the booking page, write to info@compoundgrowth.dev and we'll find a time.

The Constraint Check

Your answers stay in your browser while you take the check. We receive them only if you choose to: by emailing yourself the result, or by booking a call with the result attached. Then we receive your answers, your email address and, if you add it, your shop address, and use them to send your result and to prepare a call. We don't send you anything else unless you ask for it. When you finish the check, the result type, not your answers, is counted as described under Measurement. Links that hold your answers keep them after a # sign, a part of the address your browser never sends to us. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

Emails we send

Emails from us, including your result and replies to your requests, are sent through Resend, Inc. (USA), which processes the email address and content to deliver them.

How long we keep it

Booking requests, messages and emailed results: 12 months after our last contact, unless we start working together. Measurement data from our own server: counts only, with no personal data. Google Analytics data: 14 months at most, as described under Google Analytics.

Your rights

You can ask for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing and a copy to take elsewhere, and you can object to processing based on our legitimate interest. Where you gave consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Write to info@compoundgrowth.dev. You can also complain to a data protection supervisory authority.
