Questions people ask before they work with us
If yours isn't here, ask it on the call. We'd rather answer it before you pay us than after.
Before we talk
Who will I talk to?
Luisa Gomez Correa, our Head of Sales and Legal, leads the first call, and Giovanni Orzes is there for the technical side. Timo and Giovanni lead the work itself: no account managers, no juniors.
Is this a website project?
No. A new site can be one outcome of the diagnostic, but what we take on is the channel: the numbers, the systems underneath and the weekly decisions. If you need a website built and nothing else, a web agency is the better choice.
Why did you build something for us before we'd talked?
Because showing it on your own shop is more useful to you than describing it, and it shows how we work before you spend anything. The findings we sent are yours to use, whether or not we ever talk.
The money
Why don't you publish prices?
Because scope decides the number: how much is broken underneath, how many partners we steer, how many markets you sell in, and whether you need one of us or both. You get a fixed figure in writing after the diagnostic, and we walk you through it on a call. We'd rather quote a number we can stand behind than a “from” that changes on the call.
How is the diagnostic scoped?
On the first call, by how much of your stack we need to look at. The scope is fixed in writing before you commit.
So I pay you and I keep paying my agencies?
Yes, at first. The diagnostic shows what your agencies and tools actually return, and that's a good place to look for the first savings. If an agency isn't delivering, we'll tell you. Replacing it is your call.
Why not just hire a Head of E-Commerce?
You might, eventually. A good one usually means a senior salary plus employer costs, months to find and settle in, and one skill set. We bring commercial and technical leadership, on a contract with a review point agreed up front. If you'd rather hire, that's a good outcome too. Until then, or alongside, we do the work.
Who do we sign the contract with?
With Timo Schoenen and Giovanni Orzes, as listed in our Imprint. The contracting party is named in the proposal, before you sign.
We're about to hire someone for this. Should we still talk?
Yes, if the timing works for you. We can set up the foundation before your hire starts, so they begin with a channel that works and numbers they can trust. Or we work alongside them.
What if we invest and sales don't follow?
We're accountable for what we control: tracking, the platform, conversion, search, email, retention, and how your agency partners perform. Whether the product fits its market stays with you. We say that up front, because risk should follow control. We won't promise you a revenue figure.
The work
How long until we see something?
Numbers you can trust come first, then conversion and repeat purchases, then revenue. It takes months. We won't promise it in weeks.
What if it isn't working?
We agree a review point before we start and measure against the diagnostic. If it isn't moving and the reason is us, we say so.
Do you run our ads?
We don't run paid media as a service. We choose, brief and steer the partners who do, and hold them to numbers. We're not against paid media. We're against depending on it.
We already have an agency we like.
That's the normal case. If they're good, we make their job easier by fixing what sits underneath.
We already have an e-commerce manager. Is this for us?
It can be. If your manager runs the day-to-day but nobody senior steers the whole (the numbers, the partners, the platform decisions), that's the gap we fill, alongside them. If your manager already steers the whole channel, you may not need us.
We sell in a regulated category. Is that a problem?
No. We work on compliant routes only, and we never suggest a grey one. If a market can't be reached compliantly, we say so.
What do you need from us?
Admin access to your platform, analytics, email and ad accounts, someone who can make decisions, and one call a week.
Which platforms do you work on?
Shopify and WooCommerce, with Google Analytics 4, Klaviyo and the rest of your stack. If you're on something else, ask on the call.
What stays yours
Do we lose control of our shop?
No. We carry operational ownership, meaning we're accountable for the channel working. The shop, the accounts, the data and every login stay yours, and you keep all rights and access.
What stays ours?
Your accounts, your data and your shop, with the documentation to run what we set up. It's set up in your accounts, or set up and transferred to you. What else transfers, including anything we build for you, is written into the proposal before you sign.
Do we have to take it in-house at some point?
No. Keep us running it for as long as it earns its place. It's your call at every review.
If we take it in-house, who takes over?
It depends on where your team is: someone we train during the engagement, or a hire we help you make. We plan it with you, and it's in the proposal before you sign.
The team
Who actually does the work?
Timo and Giovanni lead it. No account managers, no juniors. Channel execution runs through agency partners we choose, brief and hold to numbers.
How much of your time do we get?
Part-time is how the role is built, so the time you get is a written commitment, not a best effort. How much of each of us you get is scoped in the diagnostic and written into the proposal, so you know before you sign. We work with a small number of companies at a time.
Two of you do the work. What if one of you is away?
Everything is documented as we build it and shared with you, so the work doesn't live in one person's head. Channel work runs through agency partners who keep working.
What size of company do you work with?
Size matters less than the gap. We fit best where online is a main channel, it grew faster than the team behind it, and nobody senior is accountable for the whole of it.
Which languages do you work in?
Calls and documents in German, English or Spanish. Technical calls with Giovanni are in English or Spanish.

What happens to my Constraint Check answers?
They stay in your browser unless you send them to us, by emailing yourself the result or by booking a call. If you do, we use them to prepare the call and nothing else. We count only which result type came up. The privacy policy has the details.
Still have a question? Ask it on a 30-minute call.
We'll look at your numbers, your stack and who decides what. You'll leave knowing whether this is worth continuing, and if it isn't, we'll say so.
